- Google Analytics
When someone visits www.bristolsindependentdistrict.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
- Mailing lists
We mentioned above we use MailChimp to keep you posted on our news and stuff.
We collect your personal information as above. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't give or sell email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter, notices of events, offers, meetings and things that you should know about. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-communications.
For more information, please see https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us firstname.lastname@example.org
- Third parties
If a Third Party contacts us with information that we think would be relevant or beneficial to you as a GRBID levy payer or subscriber we will share this with you – for example Utility Swap offers, or local events and meetings. This is to enable you to contact them yourself should you choose to do so. We will not share your personal data with them without your consent.
This website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites.
- Security and personal data
We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
